Airplanes flying overhead, music or reading a bible scripture aloud, we hear and experience sound every day. Sound influences us in some way and causes an action or response to what we hear. Sharing two different and distinct examples of sound and the role it plays in their respective ministries are Terry Swaney and Michele Trent.

Terry Swaney of KING Ministries talks about the shofar. Made from an antelope’s horn, when blown, the instrument makes the sounds of God. Each sound has a different meaning and he shares stories of how the shofar was used in the Old Testament.

Michele Trent of Remembered Well is owner of a business that records personal histories for future generations. She shares how personal recordings can preserve one’s family history and the impact it can have on future generations.
