This month’s episode of Thirst No More and Bear Fruit, Julie Castro, Joram “Sid”
Sidwell and Charan Prabhakar from Immersive History, a virtual reality program that
brings the Bible to life talk about experiencing biblical times in the 21 st Century.
Using their knowledge of computer-generated imagery (CGI) for the movie industry, Sid
and Charan talk about their respective roles at Immersive History. Sid’s experience
working on well-known movies that have CGI, is the lead developer for Immersive
History. He shares how the company consults with archeologists, pastors and rabbis
and historians to make the Bible real to the viewer.
Charan, Chief Spiritual Officer, shares about his life being raised as a Hindu and
working in Hollywood before joining the company.
It is clear by the interview that the men enjoy their calling to share the gospel of Jesus
using virtual reality and app technology. Being a believer in Jesus is fun!
